Essential Responsibilities:
Ensure that the procedures in the Maintenance Organization Manual (MOM) and the cia Quality Control Manual (MCQ) are properly implemented after being accepted by ANAC.
Ensure the airworthiness of aircraft and aeronautical products on which cia performs maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations, through the implementation of the procedures defined in the Quality Control Manual.
Ensure that inspection system procedures, comprising receiving inspection, preliminary inspection, hidden fault inspection, in process inspection, IIO inspection, NDT inspection, final inspection, service release, maintenance
release and maintenance release are properly executed and documented, as indicated in the Quality Control Manual.
Establish proficiency requirements for inspection personnel and ensure that such proficiency is maintained.
Ensure that records generated by maintenance activities on aircraft and aeronautical products demonstrate compliance with the requirements of RBAC 145 and that these records are adequately retained by cia for a
minimum period of 5 years, from the date on which the aircraft or aeronautical product is approved for return to service or released from maintenance.
Establish and implement a system of internal audits at cia and external audits at subcontracted maintenance service providers.
Coordinate with the Production Manager so that documentation arising from self-assessment processes is properly organized and available to support requests for changes to cia Operational Specifications and
Capabilities List.
Ensure that the documentation supporting the release for return to service of an aircraft or aeronautical product is suitable for this purpose and is signed by authorized personnel.
Establish and maintain the List of Designated Personnel - Management and Supervision (including ARSO Supervisors)and the List of Designated Personnel - Inspection and Release updated.
Submit to ANAC and notify customers when identifying situations for which the issuance of a service difficulty report applies.
Comply with the CSO meeting routine in the absence of the GSO as described in the MGSO.
Essential tasks/duties:
Establish and manage DIGEX's quality system in accordance with the requirements of RBAC 145 and accepted by ANAC.
Describe the quality system in the cia Quality Control Manual (MCQ) and keep this manual permanently updated and accepted by ANAC.
Gather all necessary documentation and records to be presented in audits by ANAC or other certification agencies. Such documentation shall include, but not be limited to, lists of designated personnel, work orders,
maintenance and inspection records, training records, audit records, and measurement and calibration system records of measuring and testing equipment.
Coordinate the implementation of corrective actions and the responses that cia must provide to ANAC and other certification agencies as a result of non-conformities or recommendations generated in audits of these agencies
at cia.
Submit the required monthly and quarterly reports to ANAC.
Skill Required:
Knowledge of quality management tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Tools, ISO Standards, and other industry practices.
Leadership skills
Communication skills
Analytical thinking: ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
Regulatory knowledge: Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards, such as ISO, RBAC, RAB, FAR, among others.
Experience Required:
2 years of experience in the quality area or 5 years of experience in the technical area in aircraft maintenance
companies
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering or aircraft maintenance technologist
Certificates required:
Line & Base Training of the largest article contained in the MO operational specification.
